About
My paintings are an exploration of personal memories, nostalgia, and the subtle strangeness of everyday life. I am drawn to ordinary spaces- dull, overlooked, often ugly- as if they were portraits of the people who inhabit them. I place them on equal footing with the figures depicted on the canvas.
Each painting is a collage of associations, memories, and emotions- a page from a diary. A commemoration of seemingly insignificant moments that nevertheless shape who we are.
